Building Automation Services
BAS creates central nervous system for a building that helps to monitor a building’s heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting and other systems. A well-functioning building automation system should not only monitor the climate of a building and make automatic adjustments based on temperature and movement, but also help troubleshoot any issues that arise in the building’s systems.
Video Surveillance
A digital video surveillance system is a surveillance system capable of capturing images and videos that can be compressed, stored or sent over communication networks. Digital video surveillance systems can be used for nearly any environment.
Premise wiring is customer-owned telecommunication transmission or distribution lines. The transmission lines may be copper or optical fiber, and may be installed within or between buildings. Premises wiring may consist of horizontal wiring, vertical wiring, and backbone cabling.

Robert Erickson
President
Rob Erickson is a founding partner of Koro and has been involved with every aspect of the business since its inception. As the company evolved, Rob shifted his focus to the growth of the business and continuing our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
With over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology and countless project experiences, Rob continues to listen to our customers and use their feedback to tailor the efforts of each project to specifically meet the customer’s needs.
Rob is also a proud Armed Forces Veteran, retiring from the Air Force – Arizona Air National Guard in 2009, where he served as an Avionics technician and Quality Assurance Supervisor at the 161st Air Refueling Wing in Phoenix, AZ.
Sam Engle
Partner
Like most entrepreneurial business owners, Sam has a history that can only be described as accomplished. Sam grew up with a father in the construction industry in the Seattle area. Honing his skills from an early age, Sam started his career as a computer repair specialist for five years until he transitioned into structured cabling for residential and commercial buildings. Sam would work side jobs on weekends and nights to augment his financial needs. Sam quickly became a leader with a desire to pursue a higher trajectory in the operations side of the business. Sam moved from Seattle to Phoenix where he created and grew a business unit from scratch for Washington based business.
In an effort to reach greater heights, Sam joined Koro BAS Inc as a partner. His wealth of knowledge and expertise along with his very unique individual brand makes him a perfect addition and complimentary part of the Koro BAS business strategy.
Brian Arland
Partner
Brian has a career developing expertise and includes a multitude of experience having lived in Germany and the United Kingdom as well as covering much of the Midwest where he was born and raised. Also a sports enthusiast, Brian participates in golf, softball and cycling (twice entering the 127-mile Triple Bypass ride out of Vail CO which exceeds over 10,000 vertical feet of climbing all in one glorious day of riding). Athletics have molded Brian and taught him great lessons in life, including the fact that his beloved Minnesota professional sports teams will probably never bring him a championship.
Brandon Miller
Senior Project Manager
Brandon has over 21 years of experience in the construction industry with extensive Healthcare and Institutional Control System projects as well as experience managing large, complex multi-use development projects. Brandon provides day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. A team player, Brandon holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineers, resulting in successful implementation experiences. Brandon’s teamwork first approach ensures that strategy is clearly defined while overseeing performance and maintaining morale.
His strong communication and client service skills enhance the Koro BAS management philosophy. Brandon’s father was a superintendent and mother worked as a project manager in construction. He learned early that hard physical labor and a “can do” determination was the only way to work. When Brandon is not pouring his soul into his day job, he is building off-road vehicles and spending time with his kids.
